What Gear Should I Purchase?

Do I need experience to start?

No experience is needed at all. Most of our members start as complete beginners. We guide you step-by-step in a safe and supportive environment, so you’ll never feel lost or overwhelmed.

Am I too out of shape to start?

Not at all. Getting in shape is a result of training — not a requirement before starting. You don’t need to be fit to begin, you just need to show up, we always have modified workouts.

Will I have to spar or fight?

No. Sparring is always optional. Beginners start with techniques, drills, and conditioning. You will only progress at your own pace, with no pressure.

What is my first class like?

Your first class is simple and beginner-friendly:

  • Check-in by either entering your name on the tablet or via your mobile phone 
  • You'll meet your coach
  • Warm up with the group
  • Learn basic techniques
  • No sparring required

We focus on helping you feel comfortable and confident from day one.

Do you offer classes for kids?

Yes! We offer kids classes starting at age 3. Our program focuses on confidence, discipline, respect, and self-defense in a fun and structured environment.

Is your gym family-friendly?

Absolutely. We are a family-oriented gym with a welcoming environment for parents and kids. We even have a play area available, so families can train together comfortably.

What should I bring to my first class?

Just bring comfortable workout clothes and water. If you have gear you can bring it, but if not, we have loaner equipment available.

What types of classes do you offer?

All classes are beginner-friendly and scalable to your level.

Who are the instructors?

You’ll train under Hemet’s first and only UFC fighter, along with certified referees and judges. Our instructors have real professional experience and are involved in the sport at the highest levels.
